2. Eligibility and Use of This Website
By using this website, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old or are using this website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian;
- the information you provide is accurate and complete; and
- you will not use this website for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
You must not misuse this website, introduce viruses or malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use the website in any way that could damage the website or affect other users.
3. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, dimensions, compatibility notes and other content on this website are accurate. However:
- product images are for illustration purposes only;
- colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device or screen settings;
- packaging may change from time to time;
- measurements and specifications may include reasonable tolerances; and
- compatibility statements must be read carefully and used only as described.
Fortivance products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions, warnings, or product guidance provided.
For example, our AAA to AA converter sleeves are passive sleeves only and do not charge batteries or contain electronics.
4. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to buy the goods at the price shown at checkout.
After you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and us is formed only when we accept your order and dispatch the goods to you.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order before dispatch for legitimate reasons, including where:
- the product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or listing error;
- we suspect fraud, misuse, or unauthorised activity; or
- we cannot deliver to the address provided.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund any sums paid for the cancelled goods.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices shown on the website are in Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude delivery charges, which will be shown at checkout where applicable.
Payment must be made in full at checkout using one of the payment methods we make available. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
If a pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake, we are not obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the locations shown at checkout or as otherwise stated in our Shipping & Returns page.
Estimated delivery times are estimates only unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs delays, severe weather, strikes, or other disruptions.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address provided in your order.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full for the goods and any applicable delivery charges.
If delivery cannot be completed because the address provided is incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible, we may contact you for further information. Additional delivery charges may apply where re-delivery is required.
7. Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer buying online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, subject to any legal exceptions.
To exercise your cancellation right, you must notify us clearly within the cancellation period by email or other written notice.
If you cancel within the legal cancellation period:
- you must return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel;
- the goods should be returned unused and in the condition in which they were received, with original packaging where reasonably possible; and
- we may reduce any refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Unless the return is due to our error or the goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning cancelled goods.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method, subject to our legal right to withhold reimbursement until goods are returned or evidence of return is provided.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
You must inspect your order promptly after delivery.
If goods arrive faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at [insert support email] with your order number and, where helpful, photographs.
If goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your legal rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
9. Returns
Our general returns process is set out on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these Terms.
To be eligible for a discretionary return outside your statutory rights, goods must usually be:
- returned within the stated returns period;
- unused and in resalable condition; and
- returned with original packaging where reasonably possible.
We reserve the right to refuse discretionary returns that do not meet our returns conditions, except where your statutory rights apply.
10. Product Use and Safety
You are responsible for ensuring that products are used safely, lawfully, and only for their intended purpose.
Battery-related products must be used with appropriate care. Fortivance storage and organisation products are intended to help organise and store compatible batteries and related accessories. They are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children unless specifically stated otherwise.
You must follow all battery manufacturer guidance, including any guidance about storage, polarity, charging, disposal, and safety. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, improper storage, incompatible use, modification, neglect, or failure to follow product instructions or battery safety guidance.
11. Promotions, Discounts and Offers
Any promotional offer, discount code, or sale is subject to the specific terms stated with that offer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- discount codes cannot be combined;
- promotions are subject to availability;
- promotions may be withdrawn or changed at any time before an order is accepted; and
- discounts have no cash alternative.
If an order is returned and the conditions of a promotion are no longer met, we may adjust any refund accordingly.

14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss;
- loss of profit, business, or opportunity;
- loss caused by your misuse of the goods;
- delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control; or
- incompatibility arising where goods are used outside the stated product description or intended use.
Our total liability in relation to any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the goods in question, except where the law provides otherwise.
15. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or reduce any rights you have under applicable consumer law. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights will prevail.
16. Privacy
Your submission of personal information through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites, services, or payment providers. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third parties.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
18. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where that delay or failure results from events outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, pandemics, industrial disputes, transport disruption, cyber incidents, governmental action, or interruption of utilities or internet services.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your use or purchase will apply.
Please check this page periodically for updates.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
21. Waiver
If we do not enforce any right or provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive that right or provision.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, as applicable under law. If you are not a consumer, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
